Why We Built This Site
Georgia uses separate systems for local reports, bookings, court cases, statewide criminal history, corrections custody, and registry data. DCSO Records and Reports handles sheriff-created files, while the relevant clerk keeps filed charges and dispositions. GCIC maintains Georgia's central Computerized Criminal History repository. The Georgia Department of Corrections and Georgia Sex Offender Registry serve still different purposes. We assemble researched contact details, fees, search links, and request steps without treating those sources as one database.
What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to a Georgia court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that an address, fee, telephone number, or procedure has not changed
Only the Dawson County custodian or GCIC can issue or confirm its official record; this resource can identify the office but cannot supply the document.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes. Each provider controls its service, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not control the provider's charge or the completeness of its response.
